How to Use Pen-drive as RAM with Ready boost

To use your Pen-drive as RAM, You have to make Sure that you have a Pen-drive which have a Free Storage Capacity of 4 GB.

A pen-drive with 8 GB capacity is Highly Recommended to perform this Task

Step 1: Insert your 4GB or 8GB Pen-drive.

Step 2: Take a Backup of any data already present in your pen-drive, Because its advisable to format your pen-drive before moving forward.

Step 3: Now go to My Computer and Right Click on your Pen-drive to Select Properties.

Step 4: Click on Ready-boost Tab, Now wait couple of seconds so that it analyzes your Pen-drive, Next you will see something like below Picture

Step 5: Click on Use this Device, Select the number of MB's you want to use out of total space, Then Click on Apply

Step 6: Next you will see Ready boost is Configuring your Cache, When its Done, Just reboot your PC to Feel the Difference
